Zane Davis

Reined Cow Horse Industry Advisor

Zane Davis’s younger years were centered around rodeo. He was a National High School Champion Bareback Rider, a 2x National Intercollegiate Champion All-Around, a National Intercollegiate Champion Bareback Rider, and a National Intercollegiate Reserve Saddle Bronc and Bull Riding Champion. He graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.

Later in life, Zane changed his focus to horse training, specifically western performance horses. He was the 2009 NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion, the 2017 NRCHA Open Reserve Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion, and the 2020 NRCHA Co-Reserve Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion. He has also been a World’s Greatest Horseman Reserve Champion, a 2x NSHA and Reno Open Futurity Champion, and recently claimed the championship at the inaugural Run For A Million Fence Challenge. Additionally, Zane has been a limited and Open Semi Finalist at the NCHA Futurity.

Zane’s home and training facility are located in Blackfoot, Idaho. He and Holly, his wife, have three children. All three Davis kids are involved in rodeo and other equine activities. (Zayle 22, Dawson 19, and Presley Jean 10)
