• Chaired committee to develop the AAEP Media Guide to Equine Sport, for use at the 1996 Olympic Games.
• Involved with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in the development of “Guide to Veterinary Services at PRCA Rodeos.”
• Instrumental in the establishment of a full-time animal welfare position at the PRCA.
• Active in the creation of the Animal Welfare Council.
